K24 partner as the local broadcast station that will provide LIVE coverage during the Bamburi Rugby Super Series.

Local TV station K24 will for the second successive year be the local terrestrial broadcaster for the Bamburi Rugby Super Series. This was confirmed this morning at a press conference held at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.

The Kenya Rugby Union Chairman Mwangi Muthee thanked K24 and title sponsors Bamburi Cement for their continued support to 15s rugby, saying " The Bamburi Rugby Super Series model of franchise rugby ought to be the bedrock of rugby development in Kenya." He went on to say that the Bamburi Rugby Super Series is the most appropriate vehicle to launch Kenya into fully professional rugby.


Speaking while presenting a Ksh 1 million cheque to the Kenya Rugby Union, Paul Wanyagah, Chief Executive Officer of K24's parent company, Mediamax promised in depth analysis and coverage of the tournament, offering viewers a different rugby experience.
