Regional Brand Manager (Uganda)


Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing plans and executing projects and initiatives that support the broader short and long-term marketing strategies.


The Regional Brand Manager will have regional responsibilities to ensure the company's portfolio of brands remain relevant to our customers and consumers. They will take a lead role in managing vendor partners and communication agencies.


Key responsibilities include:
•Ensure visibility and correctness for all group brands.
•Develop and implement marketing communications strategies and programs
•Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with the sales teams
•Drive consumer insight and learning to promote product knowledge and usage
•Lead on market research and support strategy development for Group Marketing initiatives
•Manage local Advertising and PR agencies to ensure quality and timely delivery of services and value to the business


The ideal candidate will have:
•A University degree in marketing, business, statistics or any other related subject. A relevant professional qualification - CIM or equivalent is an added advantage with a minimum of 4 years work experience in a busy marketing function. Experience in managing brands would be an added advantage.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Experience in managing budgets, analysis and reporting
